I bought this model from Parly car boot sale about 3 years ago. The boat was just a wrecked shell. It had originally been built to take an IC engine.

I bought it after coming to the pond one Sunday and wanted to have a play with boats; after getting it home from the boot sale I thought what have I done, it's a wreck! But as I started to resore it I thought this could be rather nice when done. I then spent the next 4 months rebuilding it and loved every moment of it. I have taken some pic's of the rebuild. Even now it sits in my living room and I still smile when I look at it.
