Sailing boats revelling in strong winds, at least on the 7th when most photos were taken. IOM yacht "134" originally belonged to Mike Benton of the Sailing Section, had a period owned by Peter Taylor, and now as "Mad Hatter" is looking much better cared for by Nigel James! The Shelduck builders have started to build the larger Purbrook Rossiter Herom cruising yachts... the first to figure on the web site is Edwin Metcalfe's "Ragged Robin Too". On the 21st April, Ken Dyer's model of the Penlee lifeboat was undergoing sea trials; like the original the hull is double diagonal planked construction. Finally, David Reith has provided photos of his Faulklands Patrol ship HMS Clyde taken on the 24th, thanks Dave!

lmers Court Hotel in Lymington was chosen as a new venue for the Xmas Lunch on 12th December 2015. Sixty-four Members and Wives/Partners enjoyed a fantastic meal in very seasonal and traditional surroundings.

Back in November 2012 Nick Leaper was searching for information about a Landing Craft on which he used to work whilst in the British Army around 1962 - 1966. The resulting scratch built model is now undergoing its first sea trials. Here are some photos! You can read Nick's comments here.
