| Boxing Day 2011 - the Setley Cup races |
The Royal Lymington Yacht Club were back to Setley Pond for their annual Boxing Day event this year and once again the pond was thronged with competitors and spectators. A welcome return after 2010 when the pond was frozen and the access road was closed for repair. Home made boats and no radio control! Here are some photographs of the event.

A sunny November Thursday and two new boats on the pond. Greg Reid's RAF Crash Tender and Allan Read's brigantine "Raven ". There are photos and a movie of the maiden voyage of Raven; a round bilged trading vessel sporting a large added keel, she looks as if she will deal with the worst storms the pond can provide!

At last dry weather! A freshening northerly wind had the yachts scudding across the pond. Nigel James's "Moonshadow" was under reduced sail while his miniscule footy showed that small yachts can cope with wind... except when running!
