David Edwards's new clipper Black Adder was under-going sea trials on 21st May, Reg Radley has supplied photos, and David has provided some interesting notes about the original (unlucky) clipper ship. From 24th May there are photos of John Andrews's Anteo working with a fuel barge and also his Arif anchor handling/supply vessel. Another powerful tug is the Smit Rotterdam, this is Jeff Stone's model. Meanwhile David McNair-Taylor has given the late Richard Densham's HMS Javelin a comprehensive refit!

Sunday, 12th April was sunny and very breezy. New boats to to appear on this web site were David Reith's HMS Lindisfarne and John Geall's Jolie Brise, the latter looking over-canvassed for the squalls! Nigel Newell's Dark Horse and Cliff Newell's Ibex ("under new ownership"!) revelled in the wind, and Mark Aldridge's tug Civitavecchia was on patrol should she be needed! Thanks to Edwin Metcalfe for photos of Ibex and thanks too to Reg Radley for photos of Harold Hartigan's splendid new square rigger Joseph Conrad taken on the previous Thursday.
