In October 2011, Solent Radio Controlled Model Yacht Club lost one of their most popular and keen sailors, Brian Harris or to give him his full title, Captain Brian Harris from his career in the merchant navy. Brian had been a member for the past eleven years during which time his competitive sailing had left a lasting impression on his many friends at the club. He had also been an active committee member. Brian and his little dog, Tinker, is sadly missed by us all.
