Submitting Adverts for inclusion on the Web Site

Adverts will only be accepted from members. Look at what best describes you!

You have an email address and access to the web

Please email me your message and a picture of what you want to sell (jpeg, tiff, png etc. - use a fairly high resolution, I will reduce for the web). If I have photos on the web site, tell me which to use. If you only have a photographic print rather than a digital image you will have to mail it to me and I will scan it. However please still email me your text so I don't have to type it in.

If you don't want your email address published on the web (which tends to attract junk emails) please let me know. I will create an email address which will typically be: "yourname@srcmbc.org.uk" or "yourname@srcmyc.org.uk". This is not a real email address, any messages sent to it will be automatically forwarded to your true email address. If you reply to those messages the recipient will see your true email address, but that should not be a problem. The big advantage is that if you then start getting pestered by junk emails we can just delete the "srcmbc/srcmyc" address and that will stop them!

If what you are advertising is sold, please email me, and I'll remove the advert!

You don't have email or access from home to the web

You can send me the advert (type written if at all possible) and a photograph of what you want to sell. You will have to agree to your mail address and/or telephone number being published on the web. However normally this does not lead to any problems. The web sites are searched for email addresses, not real ones! My address and telephone numbers can be found there and I've had no trouble! Send the advert to me, Peter Taylor (my address is on the "Contact Us" page).

As noted above, if what you are advertising is sold, please phone me (023 80554670, you'll get my answering machine, please leave a message), and I'll remove the advert!
