America's Cup defender built in 1871 (more). The model is contemporary to the original being 130 years old and built as a pond yacht by David's great-grandfather. Now converted to RC she is capable of handling rough weather. Model: David Edwards.

Lightning was one of the last really large clippers to be built in the USA. Launched in 1854 he was built by Donald McKay for James Baines of the Black Ball Line, Liverpool, for the Australia trade. A very fast ship she was often driven "rail-under". Model: David Edwards. (Wikipedia entry).

The Tea Clipper Thermopylae (more info...) sister ship to the Salamis. Construction of Thermopylae is of pine planks on plywood frames to a scale of 1:48. Model: David Edwards.
