"Archimedes Bug" is Peter Taylor's nickname for an RC toy, the Mattel-Tyco "Terrain Twister" (more information on screw driven vehicles). He bought this one off Ken Dyer who bought it off eBay! It has a habit of estivation but comes out when the snow falls.
