What was new in 2013?

N.B. references to "Latest Photos gallery", "Members Adverts", etc. will be out of date! However the photos and movies referred to can now be found in the relevant Member's or Boat Type albums.
7th November 2013 (club item)	On the Members Adverts page you will find details of an R36 yacht on ebay with proceeds going to charity. Your webmaster has been busy recently but at last, in the Latest Photos gallery, you will find photos taken at the pond during the last month or so!.
21st September 2013 (club item)	There's been a lot of activity on our Members Adverts pages recently with models selling and new models advertised. Don't miss out and don't forget to look at all the pages!
8th September 2013 (club item)	Photos of the Club Charity Exhibition in aid of the RNLI and the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance held at All Saints' Church Hall, Milford on Sea on 7th September 2013 are in the Latest Photos gallery.

13th July 2013 (club item)	Models newly offerred for sale on our Members Adverts pages include an interesting fishing trawler, a fine IOM racing yacht, and a "Yorshireman Tug Kit. 3rd July 2013 (scale item)	Lots of new photos including some taken in April for possible use by Marine Modelling International magazine (one was on the cover), action on the 2013 Navy Day, a flock of Shelducks, and much more... see the Latest Photos gallery.
23rd June 2013 (club item)	It's been all action at the pond this week! On Thursday we had divers from Calshot Sub-Aqua Club recovering a sunken warship and on Sunday it was Navy Day. Meanwhile David McNair-Taylor celebrated by providing the cover story for Marine Modelling International. Next Wednesday you can come to the pond and sail a 6 Metre racing Yacht. 14th June 2013 (scale item)	A combination of poor weather at the pond with mainly sailing yachts afloat, and your web master spending more time full-scale sailing, has led to a dearth of updates recently! However at last there is a host of new photos (taken on the 26th May and 9th June) in the Latest Photos gallery.
5th May 2013 (scale item)	More sunny weather, more action at the (now smaller) pond, and more photos in the Latest Photos gallery. And remember to check out the new Members Adverts!
3rd May 2013 (club item)	We have almost got the car park back from the pond! To celebrate we have seen the maiden voyages of three fine square-riggers, photos in the Latest Photos gallery. There are also new Members Adverts of potential interest for both scale and sailing sections.

4th March 2013 (scale item)	A cold wind from the north to east sector has limitted both attendance and activity at the pond recently. On Sunday there was a slick of "sea ice" at the southerly end. The car park is still flooded but the timber barrier has now reappeared above the water. Meanwhile, in the Latest Photos gallery there are some photos of the Itchen Marine "Wyeforce" tug - the original for the popular "Southampton" RTR tug model.
25th February 2013 (scale item)	More photos of the huge container ship "CMA CGM Marco Polo" as she returned to Southampton. Someone was feeding seagulls and a swan, wanting some of the bread, was pecking your photographer as he took the photos - see the ship in the Latest Photos gallery.

3rd February 2013 (scale item)	Some of the late Richard Densham's excellent models are for advertised sale on our Members Adverts page. A unique opportunity to buy (at very reasonable prices) models for which the build was described on the ModelBoatMayhem forum. There are also a few photographs from last Thursday (31st January) in the Latest Photos gallery.
20th January 2013 (club item)	The dates of most Scale Section events have now been finalised and are on the Diary Page. Also the Sailing programme for most of 2013 is now entered on the Club Calendar Page. Finally a few of us turned up at the snowy pond today, see the Home Page and also there's some photos in the Latest Photos gallery.
4th January 2013 (scale item)	We have a new page on Pond Safety including the Club's safety policy, risk assessment, and other information which members are asked to look at - further suggestions are welcome.
