What was new during June 2009?

N.B. references to "Latest Photos gallery", "Members Adverts", etc. will be out of date! However the photos and movies referred to can now be found in the relevant Member's or Boat Type albums.
24th June 2009 Photos from Thursday, 18th June, have finally arrived in our latest photos album featuring new models (at least for the web site), and some updated looks for models that have appeared here before. Also, at last the problem of some of our movies on YouTube having degraded in quality has been fixed! Check out our SRCMBC Channel on YouTube! ((help in using the SRCMBC Channel)
20th June 2009 A major change to the web site! The recommended way to view the movies is now through the revised SRCMBC Channel on YouTube. Here is a demonstration of how to use the SRCMBC Channel. To find out which boats have movies use the Photo Galleries and Movies page (which used to only show the photo galleries). Any problems, please Contact Me!
14th June 2009 Photos from the pond in our latest photos album feature a range of models including and RC version of the "Luggage" from Terry Pratchett's novel "The Colour of Magic" (at least that's what it looks like to me!).
12th June 2009 Alan Bond's "Servo-Slower" has now become a Servo Controller and a kit is being sold by Technobots. On our Members Adverts page, Bernie Lewin has a collection of model boats and some "Model Boat Jumble" for sale.
8th June 2009

The results of the Richard Graham Steering Competition (7th June 2009) are now available with photos in our "Latest Events" galleries, and even a new Ruff Cartoon.

4th June 2009 The Sailing Section pages now contain new Photo Galleries for each of the yacht classes that they race... there's some exciting action and it's well worth a look! The Scale Section index by boat type has been brought up to date. It's just possible that your boat has moved to a new category! If it's a problem please contact me!
1st June 2009 Photos from yesterday are in our latest photos album which gives a summary of what's available in some detail since the descriptions of individual photos (model name, maker) had not initially been entered; they are now available!
