What was new during May 2009?

N.B. references to "Latest Photos gallery", "Members Adverts", etc. will be out of date! However the photos and movies referred to can now be found in the relevant Member's or Boat Type albums.
30th May 2009A new feature on Ships and Sailing which is accessible from our "links" pages (both Scale Section and Sailing Section). Members who have been to sea on ships, please tell me which and/or give me your comments! We hope that this page will grow!
28th May 2009Photos from today are in our latest photos album. New entrants include a classic wooden cruiser from Allan Read, and "Wet n' Wild", a Chris Craft launch from Ken Dyer.
27th May 2009Photos from recent days at the pond have now been inserted in the various "boat albums" and the "All Boats" gallery updated. There's some interesting comments from Dave Edwards about his beautiful square riggers Salamis and Thermopylae, and also from David McNair-Taylor on his latest build... HMS Kirkliston, a ship on which he served. Our thanks to the two Davids; members are reminded that comments on their boats are welcomed... they make the site more interesting!
25th May 2009Photos from the 24th May in our latest photos album include some boats, a duck, a donkey, and a monkey! There's also an offer of a refurbishment project on our members adverts page. Finally... a new Ruff Cartoon concerning a duck! To quote the duck... Yeah!
16th May 2009 Photos of the racing action on Saturday 16th May when the Sailing Section hosted the Class R36R Metropolitan and Southern District Sailing Championships are in our "Latest Events" galleries, as well as the Sailing Section Photo Gallery pages.
13th May 2009We have more comments from Brian Severn and Lorna and Andrew Soffe on their models (thanks!). The "About Our Site" page has been updated with the number of views during April, and the "History Page" has had a section on Sway Tower added which includes a link to a web site giving some detailed information (I had previously searched bookshops to no avail).
10th May 2009It's the 2009 "Navy Day" in our latest photos album. You can also see Mike Sheppard's unusual models. And Terry Spurge has a rebuild offering in our Members Adverts page.
3rd May 2009Our latest photos from the pond include some new warships... a trial run for next week's "Navy Day"? ...and we have a "cow" or possibly a "bull"!
