What was new during November 2008?

N.B. references to "Latest Photos gallery", "Members Adverts", etc. will be out of date! However the photos and movies referred to can now be found in the relevant Member's or Boat Type albums.
29th November 2008 The continuing bad weather has limited action at the pond but here are some photos of some boats that braved the weather, together with some local "wild life"; ...and Ruff has become aggressive!
27th November 2008 More Members adverts: St Canute Tug from David McNair-Taylor, and RC Transmitters and crystals from Peter Taylor.
25th November 2008 First stage of a major update of our "Links" page. The links to other clubs has been much expanded and we hope to add many more. If your club is not there please tell me. The next stage will be to add more links to commercial suppliers of model boat building gear. Suggestions for links are always welcome, email me.
20th November 2008 New Members adverts include two of Mike Hammond's scratch built models at bargain prices, and two very nice Cheddar steam engines for sale by Peter Gargan... check them out!
11th November 2008 Within hours of the event SRCMBC web site brings you photos of the QE 2 arriving in Southampton for the last time! Find them on our Latest Events page.
10th November 2008 Fleece jackets with club logo now available! Price is £11 each.
6th November 2008 The Movie Gallery has been refurbished as a step in our move to provide all our movies from "YouTube"... thereby saving the club money and also giving us an advert on the larger world stage. However YouTube has been very slow to download recently, possibly as a result of the US Presidential election. Normally it's much better, hang on in there! It may not seem like it, but this has been a major upgrade... if anything doesn't work please email me.
2nd November 2008 A small selection of photos from the pond, and the "About Our Site" page has been updated to include the number of visits to the site during October; these averaged 240 per day, a new record!
