What was new during October 2010?

N.B. references to "Latest Photos gallery", "Members Adverts", etc. will be out of date! However the photos and movies referred to can now be found in the relevant Member's or Boat Type albums.
29th October 2010 More Movies from Setley Pond! Drumbeat of Devon, Najade, NZL-84, and a feature length Donk and Monk presentation - with music and extra footage from Don Brazier showing how this cinema epic was made! Find them in our "Latest Movies Gallery".
26th October 2010 The Club's 2011 Setley Pond Calendar is available from our "Club Shop" page, and the latest (Autumn) Newsletter can be accessed on our News Letters page.
18th October 2010 More wide-screen movies, you can now access them from our "Latest Movies Gallery", and there's a new trailer to demonstrate Rwhat you can, or will be able to, see! Note that to see the movies at there best you need a reasonably fast broadband connection and computer and we recommend the default "360p" resolution (Why?).
15th October 2010 Wide screen movies have reached the web site! They are indicated by the different camera symbol (left) and can be watched in normal or High Definition. You can see photos and watch a movie of P.S.Glasgow (built by Roger Perris) by going to our "Latest Photos Gallery". Other wide-screen movies can be accessed from our List of Boat Movies.
12th October 2010 The movies can now be individually viewed from this web site rather than having to go to the SRCMBC YouTube channel. Anywhere you see the movie camera symbol, click on it to access view the movie in a popup window. Try this example. There is now also a list of all the boat movies on our "Photo Galleries and Movies" index page.
4th October 2010 It's Monsoon Season at the pond so Alan Bond has some new electronics projects you can try at home: a new RC Switch, a Home Built Speed Controller and a Reverse Tamer, a Rudder Mixer, and no less than an 8 Channel Sound Unit. Get soldering!
